All of our students follow an individualized education plan (IEP) tailored to their academic, social and emotional goals. We offer many unique programs that help our students develop their academic, social and life-skills as well as gaining valuable experience in vocational areas and work placements. Our students graduate from a variety of programs with MEQ accreditations and certifications, but it's important to note that our school does not offer programs leading to a general secondary school diploma.
John Grant High School is an alternative secondary schoolnestled in the borough of Côte-St-Luc. John Grant High School specializesin the education of exceptional students whose needs are not being met or cannot be met within mainstream high schools. We provide a safe, inclusive environment for students who are typicallybetween the ages of 11 and 21 years oldand have learning difficulties or intellectual impairments and/or significant academic delays.
In our school, you will find a most welcoming community of students, staff and parents who come together to help our students learn and develop into educated, well-rounded, independent and responsible young adults. We build a community that feels like family and relationships that last a lifetime.
