John Grant High School

Our Parent Participation Organization (P.P.O.) is a group of dedicated parent volunteers that help to organize events and fundraising activities for our school. 

 A parent participation organization gives the opportunity to a larger number of parents to be involved in the day-to-day life of a school. 

The purpose of a PPO is to encourage the collaboration of parents in supporting the school's educational project and participate actively in the life of the school.  Closer collaboration and communication between school and home fosters educational success. 

The PPO may also advise the parents' representatives on the governing board regarding any matter of concern to parents or which the organization is consulted by the parents' representatives.
